What we don’t store
We never store your raw ID image on LifeSwap servers. Stripe verifies the document directly; we only store the verification result (verified / requires_input / canceled) and a redacted reference.
Why hosts care
A verified guest is statistically 4–6× more likely to be accepted on a swap proposal or instant-book request. Verification is the single highest-impact action a guest can take.
